About the Artist
Ritual, colour and emotion in every stroke.
I’m Shivanshaaa – a contemporary painter inspired by the rich visual language of South Indian ritual forms like Theyyam and Kathakali. My canvases blend traditional iconography with bold, modern colour.
I create large statement pieces and intimate portraits for homes, galleries and boutique spaces – artworks that become the focal point of a room and carry a story of culture, performance and identity.

“I paint faces I’ve never met but somehow know. The layers of costume, jewellery, and colour are just different ways of exploring the same question – who are we when we perform, and who are we when the lights go off?”
